Syllabus & curriculum

CBSE design a new curriculum and Assessment system that will not just prepare students to become test takers and do well in high stake standardized tests, but improve achievement by including the kind of Research scientific investigation and problem solving that will help them compete in the 21st century knowledge economy. There are two main changes proposed in the new system.

  1. Introduction of grading system.
  2. Replacement of Terminal External examination by school based continuous and comprehensive Evaluation (CCE).

Continuous and comprehensive evaluation refers to a system of school based evaluation of students that covers all respects of students development. It includes assessment in scholastic and co – aspects, scholastic aspects. Curricular areas co-scholastic or subject specific areas and co – scholastic aspects includes life skills. Attitudes and values, Health and physical education. Evaluation of work experience etc.

Text Books

The school follows text books published by NCERT and CBSE for subjects and languages and mathematics with work books in all classes.

Academic Session

The academic session of the school is from April to March.

Admission of pupils

  1. The school admits students should be made without any distinction of religion, creed, caste and race.
  2. Students seeking admission should have register their names before 31st march of the preceding academic year.
  3. Application for admission shall be made in the prescribed form available in the school office on payment of Rs – 100/-
  4. New admission to class II to X will be made only on the basic of eligibility test conducted during the first week of April every year.
  5.  A pupil who seeks admission to class I Should have completed 6 years of age as on I* June of the year of admission.
  6. Application for admission should be submitted with original birth certificates obtained from local body.
  7. Eligible Candidates should produce Transfer certificate and progress report from migrating the other school.
  8. The students up to class VII who have not studied in any recognized school, but seeking admission to this school should qualify the eligibility test and pro­duce the original birth certificate.
  9. Admission fees, First Installment of tuition fees and other prescribed fees should be paid at the time of admission.
  10. The fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
